The wine region of Westhofen is located in the region of Rheinhessen of Germany. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Seehof or the Domaine Seehof produce mainly wines white, sweet and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Westhofen are Riesling et Scheurebe, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Westhofen often reveals types of flavors of earth, microbio or oak and sometimes also flavors of tree fruit, citrus fruit or tropical fruit.
In the mouth of Westhofen is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Westhofen, producing 13 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Westhofen go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, shellfish or spicy food.
