The wine region of Currency Creek is located in the region of Fleurieu of Australie du Sud of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Adaptaur or the Domaine Steeple Block produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Currency Creek are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Currency Creek often reveals types of flavors of spices, non oak or oak and sometimes also flavors of black fruit, tree fruit or earth.
In the mouth of Currency Creek is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 17 estates and châteaux in the of Currency Creek, producing 34 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Currency Creek go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).
