The wine region of La Consulta is located in the region of Uco Valley of Mendoza of Argentina. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Zuccardi or the Domaine Altocedro produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of La Consulta are Malbec, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of La Consulta often reveals types of flavors of cream, fig or walnut and sometimes also flavors of cedar, honey or boysenberries.
In the mouth of La Consulta is a powerful. We currently count 30 estates and châteaux in the of La Consulta, producing 100 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of La Consulta go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or poultry.
