Discover the grape variety: Onchette

Simple, fresh dry whites with a pale golden robe, a supple palate and preserved acidity. Understated aromas of citrus, white flowers and herbaceous notes from the South-West. Rustic, airy profile, best drunk young. Preserved in INRAE variety collections, it bears witness to the pre-phylloxera ampelographic diversity of the South-West and is studied as a heritage grape. Rare French white grape, once cultivated in the South-West, now nearly extinct.

The wine region of Banat

Region in south-western Romania between the Danube and the Carpathians, mild climate tempered by Mediterranean river influences. Cadarcă and Fetească Neagră are the signature indigenous reds: full-bodied and spiced with notes of black cherry, plum, wild berries, herbs and a balsamic touch, supple tannins. Burgund Mare (local Pinot Noir), Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah in complement. Fetească Albă, Italian Riesling, Sauvignon and Muscat Ottonel as aromatic whites.

The wine region of Vojvodina

Vast northern Serbian region on the Pannonian plain, dominated by Fruška Gora overlooking the Danube, sandy soils, temperate continental climate. Predominantly white production — Grašac (Welschriesling) as the signature white: light and refreshing with delicate citrus, white flowers and a floral touch, balanced acidity. Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Blanc as complements. Merlot, native Probus and Bordeaux blends as modern reds.

The word of the wine: Confit

Said of red wines that offer a very ripe nose of red and black fruits reminiscent of jam. On the palate, these aromas are dominant, the wine is very fleshy and round, and leaves an impression of sweetness on the finish that weighs it down.
