This double-ended variety is found in Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, the Slovak Republic (small Carpathians), the Czech Republic (Moravia), etc. It is virtually unknown in France.

The wine region of Perigord

The wine region of Perigord is located in the region of Atlantique of Vin de Pays of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Haut Vignac or the Château le Raz produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Perigord are Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet franc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
