Modern South-West profile. Grown in small quantities in the South-West for IGP wines, featuring in southern blends. French white grape obtained in 1956 by crossing Baroque × Chardonnay.

Also Penedès, fleshy Montsant, sunny Empordà, Costers del Segre. Mediterranean.
