Ticino is a relatively small wine region in the alpine South of Switzerland, prized for its Merlot, and located along its border with Italy. Interspecific crossing between 6468 Seibel and 6905 Seibel or subéreux, obtained by the House of Seyve-Villard of Saint Vallier in the Drôme.
