The Taittinger Estate is located in the Champagne region, about 70 km southeast of Paris. The estate is one of the largest wineries in Champagne with approximately 255 hectares of vineyards. Founded in 1931 by Pierre Taittinger and today managed by Pierre-Emmanuel and Clovis Taittinger, the Maison produces some of the world's most prestigious and sought-after champagnes. The Taittinger Winery offers a variety of superior quality wines, which reflect the regional character and style. The estate's vineyards are spread out in the region, including in some of Champagne's most emblematic villages such as Ay, Avize, Cramant, and Oger. The Maison also owns vineyards in several lesser-known villages in the region, such as Vertus, Rilly la Montagne, Damery, and Hautvillers. Taittinger cultivates their own grapes and masters the process from maturing in their own cellar to bottling. Their particularly large cellar, dating back to the 13th century, is perhaps the oldest and largest in the region. The wines produced at Taittinger's Cave are made with a unique combination of grapes, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier. The varied cuvées include brut wines, vintage, blanc de blancs, blanc de noirs, Rosé, and Crémant. Taittinger's special cuvées are known for their fragrant and warm character. The vintage wines are particularly tasty, with sweet and subtle scents. The so-called "aspect" blends are primarily composed of wines produced from different crus, without being a vintage. Therefore, the Taittinger Winery offers high-quality products of unique style. Taittinger wines can be enjoyed in restaurants, dining rooms, and bars around the world.
