The wine region of Istra
The wine region of Istra of Croatia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Meneghetti or the Domaine Medea produce mainly wines white, red and sweet. Cultivated in the 19th century in all the northern vineyards, this black grape variety has largely regressed since. It brings roundness and red and yellow fruit aromas to champagnes.
