Powerful, structured reds with a near-black inky color, firm tannins and a dense palate, offering intense aromas of ripe black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, plum), candied cherry, liquorice, spices, garrigue and balsamic notes. Fine cellaring potential, excelling in old vines on poor soils. Pillar of great Priorat DOQ, Montsant DO, Empordà DO reds and the signature of DO Cariñena (Aragón). The wine region of Connecticut

New England wine state, glacial soils (schist, gneiss, loam). Coast tempered by Long Island Sound, favouring Bordeaux varieties. Signature Cabernet Franc: elegant and peppery with signature notes of raspberry, red cherry, red pepper, violet, fresh herbs and a spicy touch, fine tannins and fresh palate — friendly cool-climate style. Round Merlot (plum, cherry).

The word of the wine: Broker

In the past, he was a sort of fraud control agent who had to watch over the quality of merchant wines (he could carry a sword!). His function has evolved towards expertise (it was the brokers who established the famous 1855 classification in Bordeaux) and today he puts the producer in contact with the merchant.
