The wine region of Recioto di Gambellara

Venetian DOCG passito on the Vicenza-Verona border (volcanic basalt and moraine hills of Chiampo, last slopes of the Lessini Mountains, Classico communes Gambellara-Montebello-Zermeghedo): Garganega is the exclusive signature in sweet white wines — perfumed with honey, ripe yellow fruits, apricot and almond, warm and balanced palate. Manual harvest, 3-month passerillage concentrating sugars and aromas. Also in a refined sparkling version.

The wine region of Veneto

World star of Prosecco: fresh, light Glera sparklers with notes of pear, green apple and white flowers, fruity, convivial bubbles. Veronese reds from Corvina and Rondinella: light, crisp Bardolino, fruity Valpolicella, opulent, concentrated Amarone DOCG (black cherry, chocolate, raisin) from dried grapes. Mineral, almondy Soave (Garganega) whites, fresh Pinot Grigio. 97,500 ha, Italy's largest production.

The word of the wine: Smell

A generic term for both unpleasant and pleasant odours known as perfumes. In the world of tasting, the term aroma is more commonly used.
