The wine region of Tokaj
Tokaj (formerly Tokaj-Hegyalja) has Long been Hungary's most famous and respected wine region, thanks mostly to its nectar-like, botrytized Tokaji dessert wines. Grenache is a black grape variety that originated in Spain and is one of the great quality varieties of southern France. Its wines are warm, with aromas of red fruits (cherry) and spices; they oxidize with time.
