Grand Cru of Wuenheim in Haut-Rhin (~36 ha in an amphitheatre at 260–320 m south-east, leached brown soils on Rhine alluvium and Oligocene argillaceous-calcareous conglomerates covered with calcareous loess, one of the driest areas in France at 450 mm/year). Riesling is the signature white (64%) — exotic profile with passion fruit notes from the intense sunshine. Opulent Gewurztraminer (18%) and Pinot Gris (17%) with candied mangoes, Muscat (1%).
