Aragonese Vino de la Tierra (2005) in the Cinca valley (Huesca, near the Catalan border), dry continental climate. Tempranillo and Garnacha lead in the reds with crushed strawberry, raspberry, cherry, garrigue and a spiced-pepper note, round tannins and vibrant fruit. Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah provide structure. Macabeo and Muscat of Alexandria produce aromatic whites with floral and musky notes.
