AOC Languedoc in 46 communes around Montpellier (hard limestone, sandstone pebbles and marl-limestone, maritime influence): Grenache (≥20%), Syrah and Mourvèdre are the flagship exclusive reds complemented by Carignan — deep purple, intense nose of spices and small red fruits, round and ample, fruity-spicy balance, silky fine tannins, griotte and garrigue aromas.
