Discover the grape variety: Cornalin d'Aoste
It is a variety of Valle d'Aosta origin and, like Arvine, it is also found in Italy. In the past, it was cultivated in Savoy and registered in the official catalogue of wine grape varieties, list B, under the name of red humagne, but it is not related to white humagne. According to recent genetic analyses, the Swiss variety Cornalin du Valais is its father and Rèze its grandmother. It is also the grandson of the petit rouge d' Aoste.

The wine region of Virginia
Virginia is a state on the eastern seaboard of the United States, located immediately South of Maryland and North of the Carolinas. The state covers 42,750 square miles (110,750 km2) of mountains, valleys and the Atlantic coastal Complex that forms its eastern border. From the Cumberland and Blue Ridge Mountains in the west to the coastal creeks and estuaries in the east, Virginia's topography and geology are varied, to say the least. The word of the wine: Free-run wine
The free-run wine is the wine that flows out of the vat by gravity at the time of running off. The marc soaked in wine is then pressed to extract a rich and tannic wine. Free-run wine and press wine are then aged separately and eventually blended by the winemaker in proportions defined according to the type of wine being made.
