Discover the grape variety: Galotta

Intensely coloured and structured reds with a deep purple robe, firm tannins and a dense mouthfeel, with aromas of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, plum), cherry, spices and floral notes. A profile between Italian Ancellotta and French Gamay. Grown in Swiss Romandy (Vaud, Valais, Geneva) and Ticino for modern blends and identity cuvées. A Swiss hybrid created in 1981 at Pully by André Jaquinet (Ancellotta × Gamay), valued for its colour and resistance.

The wine region of Hautes-Alpes

Alpine IGP (mountain climate, wide thermal amplitude, clay-limestone at Théüs, loams at Tallard): signature Mollard (emblematic local grape, "Petite Montagne") in red — ruby robe, lightly peppered spicy nose with toasted bread notes, round palate with well-ripened red fruits (griotte cherry, plum), tar, vanilla, leather and minerality, pure expression of altitude terroir. Espanenc, Chardonnay and Viognier as complements, lively mineral whites.

The wine region of Méditerranée

Vast IGP of south-east France (Provence, Vaucluse, Var, Corsica, Ardèche), 75% rosés. Fresh, fruity rosés with signature notes of strawberry, raspberry, citrus, white flowers and a Mediterranean touch, taut and thirst-quenching on the palate — the quintessential sunny aperitif. Supple reds blending Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot (red fruits, garrigue, spice), full whites of Viognier (apricot, flowers) and Chardonnay. Generous everyday wines, expression of the south.

The word of the wine: Astringency

Chemical stimulation that tightens the mucous membranes of the mouth and causes a sensation of harshness, which is characteristic of the presence of tannins. With time, the tannins lose their harshness and become softer.
