The wine region of North Dakota

Extreme-cold vineyard of the northern Great Plains, with harsh winters requiring ultra-hardy hybrid varieties (NDSU). Frontenac is the signature red: deep colour with intense notes of black cherry, blackberry, plum and a spicy touch, characteristically lively acidity. Supple King of the North and Saint-Croix as complements. La Crescent as aromatic white with exotic fruits, apricot and orange blossom.

The word of the wine: Blanc de noirs (champagne)

Champagne made from black grapes (pinot noir and/or meunier) only.
