Tuscan DOC (1977) in the province of Pisa, hills near the Tyrrhenian coast (Casale Marittimo, Riparbella, Guardistallo). Sangiovese is the red king (≥50% of the Rosso): garnet ruby with ample cherry, plum, Mediterranean herbs and a marine touch, balanced tannins. Bordeaux Cabernet and Merlot as fleshy single varietals.
