Riesling is the flagship white: fuller and sunnier than in the Moselle, with notes of yellow peach, apricot, candied citrus, white flowers and a spicy mineral touch (limestone, red sandstone, basalt), dense palate and saline length. Cradle of mythical estates Bassermann-Jordan and von Buhl. Grand cru Riesling.

A 23,640 ha vineyard along the Haardt, among Germany's warmest (>2,000 h of sun).
