The wine region of Mudgee is located in the region of Central Ranges of Nouvelle-Galles du Sud of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Petersons or the Domaine Eloquesta produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Mudgee are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
