The wine region of Golfo dei Poeti La Spezia

IGT coastal zone of La Spezia (Cinque Terre, Lerici, Portovenere), steep Ligurian terraces facing the Tyrrhenian. Vermentino as vibrant and saline white king — white flowers, citrus, aromatic herbs and refined iodine-marine touch. Bosco and Albarola as complementary mineral whites. Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Pollera and Ciliegiolo as supple reds with red fruits and herbaceous hint.

The wine region of Liguria

Coastal region of northwest Italy on the Riviera, terraced vineyards among the steepest in Europe (~1,650 ha). Vermentino signature in white: fresh and saline with signature notes of citrus, white flowers, wild herbs, fresh almond and an iodine mineral touch, taut long mouth. Local Pigato similar and ample, mineral Bosco (min. 40% in Cinque Terre), Albarola.

The word of the wine: Secondary aromas

Aromas resulting from the fermentation and maturation of the wine before bottling. The aging in barrels modifies considerably the texture and the flavours of the wine.
