The wine region of Ardon
The wine region of Ardon is located in the region of Valais of Switzerland. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine La Madeleine or the Domaine Croix Duplex produce mainly wines white. The wine region of Valais
The Valais is the largest wine region and appellation in Switzerland, responsible for around one third of the country's total wine production. The main Vineyard area covers the southeast-facing slopes of the dramatic Rhône river valley as the glacial waters run southwest between Leuk (Loeche in French) and Fully. The river changes direction at Martigny and then runs northwest to exit the valley and empty into Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). It is rather a guarantee that the wine has not been mistreated: in fact, to avoid the natural deposit, rather violent processes of filtration or cold passage (- 7 or - 8 °C) are used in order to precipitate the tartar (the small white crystals that some people confuse with crystallized sugar: just taste to dissuade you from it)
