The wine region of Moscato di Scanzo

Italy's smallest DOCG (31 ha exclusively in Scanzorosciate, Bergamo province), clay-limestone hillside soils, natural drying ≥21 days concentrating sugars, aged in glass and stainless steel without wood, ≥2 years before release. Moscato di Scanzo is the sole passito red: warm ruby, plum, jam, wild rose, marasca cherry and woodland, sweet palate with surprising freshness and velvety fine tannins.

The wine region of Lombardia

Three poles. Franciacorta DOCG, Italy's answer to Champagne: elegant brioche traditional-method sparklers (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc), fine bubble and mineral profile. Alpine Valtellina: Nebbiolo (alias Chiavennasca) with fine tannins and red fruits, powerful Sforzato passito. Oltrepò Pavese: fresh Pinot Noir and fruity-sparkling Bonarda.

The word of the wine: Fees

This wine is characterized by a pleasant nervousness and an overall sensation of freshness on the palate, reinforced by minerality, a note of bitterness, a hint of CO2, and of course an appropriate serving temperature.
