Also used for rosé Chiaretto. Blended in Garda Classico DOC and Valtènesi DOC. Autochthonous Lombard variety grown near Lake Garda.

IGT from Campania (Caserta and Naples), revival of rare indigenous varieties already cited by Pliny the Elder.
