Located just inland from the Indian Ocean coast, this sunny valley is cooled and moistened by sea breezes during hot summer afternoons, allowing it to produce Powerful wines of unusual complexity. Located immediately North of the Blackwood Valley and the famous Margaret River, the land is surrounded by some of the most established vineyards in Western Australia. That said, 'established' here only means 30 or 40 years, as the region's wine-making potential was only really recognised in the 1970s.
