The wine region of Troodos South of Cyprus. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Ayia Mavri or the Domaine Ayia Mavri produce mainly wines red, white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Troodos South are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet franc and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. A total of £72,600 was raised from 79 lots at the sixteenth DWWA wine auction hosted by Christie’s on 2 December – beating a record set in 2018. This total excludes Christie’s buyer’s premium. Cambridge University study suggests smaller glasses can reduce overall wine consumption

The researchers conducted a crossover trial featuring 217 UK households that drink wine on a regular basis. They were randomly given 290ml or 350ml glasses to drink from during the four-week study period.
