The wine region of Lemesos of Cyprus. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Vlassides or the Domaine KEO produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Lemesos are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. Christie’s 2021 DWWA charity wine auction sets new record
A total of £72,600 was raised from 79 lots at the sixteenth DWWA wine auction hosted by Christie’s on 2 December – beating a record set in 2018. This total excludes Christie’s buyer’s premium. Reduced planting density initiative approved in Champagne
The proposal reduces the mandatory density of planting from 8,000 vines per hectare to approximately 6,000. This would be accomplished by allowing 2.2 metres between rows, essentially removing every other row.
