The wine region of Hermann is located in the region of Ozark Mountain of Missouri of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Hermannhof or the Domaine Stone Hill produce mainly wines red, white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Hermann are Vignoles, Riesling and Chambourcin, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Hermann often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of red fruit, black fruit or tree fruit.
We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of Hermann, producing 10 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Hermann go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or spicy food.
