The wine region of Nevada County is located in the region of Sierra Foothills of California of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Purity or the Domaine Purity produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Nevada County are Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Nevada County often reveals types of flavors of citrus fruit, earth or spices and sometimes also flavors of red fruit, black fruit or tree fruit.
We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of Nevada County, producing 10 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Nevada County go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, pork or shellfish.
