The wine region of Binissalem-Mallorca is located in the region of Mallorca of Iles Baléares of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Biniagual or the Domaine Biniagual produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Binissalem-Mallorca are Manto negro, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. The small island of Gorgona, just off the coast of Livorno, isn’t your run-of-the-mill viticultural area – its main purpose is to serve as a penal colony.
