The wine region of McGregor is located in the region of Robertson of Western Cape of South Africa. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Lord's or the Domaine Lord's produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of McGregor are Pinot noir, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of McGregor often reveals types of flavors of earth, microbio or vegetal and sometimes also flavors of oak, citrus fruit or tropical fruit.
In the mouth of McGregor is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 6 estates and châteaux in the of McGregor, producing 26 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of McGregor go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).
