The wine region of Malmsey Madeira is located in the region of Madeira of Terras Madeirenses of Portugal. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Barbeito or the Domaine Blandy's produce mainly wines natural sweet. On the nose of Malmsey Madeira often reveals types of flavors of non oak, oak or earth and sometimes also flavors of microbio, vegetal or spices. In the mouth of Malmsey Madeira is a powerful with a good balance between acidity and sweetness.
We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of Malmsey Madeira, producing 6 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Malmsey Madeira go well with generally quite well with dishes of sweet desserts or appetizers and snacks.
