The wine region of Dodecanese is located in the region of Aegean Sea of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Kounaki or the Domaine Kounaki produce mainly wines white, pink and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Dodecanese are Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Dodecanese often reveals types of flavors of oak, red fruit or citrus fruit and sometimes also flavors of floral, tropical fruit.
We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of Dodecanese, producing 9 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Dodecanese go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or spicy food.
