The wine region of Alsace Grand Cru 'Moenchberg' is located in the region of Alsace Grand Cru of Alsace of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Rémy Gresser or the Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss produce mainly wines white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Alsace Grand Cru 'Moenchberg' are Riesling, Pinot gris and Gewurztraminer, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Alsace Grand Cru 'Moenchberg' often reveals types of flavors of pineapple, oak or mango and sometimes also flavors of dried apricot, non oak or earth.
In the mouth of Alsace Grand Cru 'Moenchberg' is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 10 estates and châteaux in the of Alsace Grand Cru 'Moenchberg', producing 15 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
