The wine region of Robe is located in the region of Limestone Coast of Australie du Sud of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Wolf Blass or the Domaine Wolf Blass produce mainly wines red, sparkling and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Robe are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Pinot noir and Malbec, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Robe often reveals types of flavors of oaky, dark fruit or oak and sometimes also flavors of black fruit, blackberry or blueberry.
In the mouth of Robe is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 5 estates and châteaux in the of Robe, producing 10 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Robe go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or poultry.
