Fife-based business The Whisky Barrel, managed by brothers Alastair and Chris Brown, has initially released a 30-year-old Glen Moray single malt, priced at £350 and limited to 152 numbered bottles. Shirakawa 1958 is the only official single malt bottling from the demolished distillery, and is also said to be the earliest single vintage Japanese whisky bottled to date, although part of its back story remains shrouded in mystery.
