Used in blending to boost color. Grown mainly in the United States (Missouri, Pennsylvania) and marginally in France. French black teinturier hybrid created by Albert Seibel (Seibel 8357).

Wine brand of the Banat (Recas) in homage to the Germanic Swabian (Schwaben) settlers who came for the viticultural potential. Feteasca Regala signature in aromatic white: citrus, white flowers, peach and honeyed touch. Muscat Ottonel floral and Italian Riesling taut in white. Feteasca Neagra and Cabernet Sauvignon in reds: black cherry, plum and spice notes, rounded tannins.
