Discover the grape variety: Negroamaro

Powerful, structured reds with an almost black inky hue, firm tannins and a solar dense palate, with intense aromas of ripe black fruits (blackberry, plum), tobacco, leather, Mediterranean herbs, spices, liquorice and balsamic notes with a signature bitter finish. Also made as structured rosés. Star of Salice Salentino DOC, Brindisi DOC and Squinzano DOC in Salento. Native Italian variety from Puglia; its name evokes its black colour and bitterness.

The wine region of Valdadige

DOC straddling Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto along the Adige valley from Merano to Sant'Ambrogio, pre-Alpine temperate climate, granite soils. Pinot Gris is the signature white king: dry and fresh with green apple, pear, citrus, white flowers and Alpine mineral touch, taut, thirst-quenching palate. Müller-Thurgau and Chardonnay as lively complements. Schiava supple and Enantio (min.

The wine region of Trentino-Alto-Adige

Italy's northernmost alpine vineyard, two identities. Aromatic, precise whites are the stars: signature opulent Gewurztraminer (lychee, rose, spice), ample Pinot Grigio, mineral Pinot Bianco, lively high-altitude Muller-Thurgau. Native reds: dense fruity Teroldego (blackberry, violet), deep Lagrein with plum and chocolate notes, light crunchy Schiava, spicy Marzemino. Trento DOC Metodo Classico sparklers.

The word of the wine: Astringent

Said of a wine that is a bit harsh and rough on the palate. Astringency often appears in young red wines that are rich in tannins and need to be rounded out.
