Discovering the wine region of Wairau Valley

The wine region of Wairau Valley is located in the region of Marlborough of South Island of New Zealand. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Workshop or the Domaine Ranui produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Wairau Valley are Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Pinot gris, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Wairau Valley often reveals types of flavors of earth, vegetal or tree fruit and sometimes also flavors of citrus fruit, floral or tropical fruit.
