The wine region of Louisiana

Gulf of Mexico state with humid subtropical climate unsuited to Vitis vinifera, realm of the native Muscadine (Carlos, Noble, Magnolia, Ison, Sugargate). Golden Scuppernong is the signature king white: sweet with intense fresh grape, orange blossom, honey and a characteristic musky note. Dark varieties as supple reds with jammy fruits. Also rosés (Darlene, Scarlett).

The word of the wine: Polyphenols

Substance contained essentially in the skin of the grape. The main ones are anthocyanins, which give red wines their colour and tannins.
