A very old variety of table grape. It is believed to be a cross between the khourmany kizil or ichkimar and the sultana. The wine region of Ribera del Guadiana is located in the region of Estrémadure of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Viña Santa Marina or the Domaine Pago Los Balancines produce mainly wines red, white and pink.
