Historic wine region of Azerbaijani Shirvan (Caucasus, alt. 700-800 m, tempered by the Caspian), birthplace of Madrasa. Native Madrasa (grown since the 15th c. in its namesake village) signature in deep royal red: intense pomegranate, black cherry, blackberry, plum and a refined Caucasian spiced-balsamic note, deep ruby robe.
