The Deutz Estate is a vineyard located in Champagne, France. It spans 126 hectares across the appellations Aÿ, Epernay, Oiry, and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, with vines of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The estate is visited by visitors from all over the world for its fabulous Champagnes. Legendary and with a bicentennial history, the estate was founded in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre Geldermann who made Deutz one of the most significant and legendary Champagne houses in France. In 1988, the estate was bought by Karl-Henri Staecheli who decided to run the estate biodynamically and practice reason-based agriculture, which allowed the vines to grow in quality and yield more complex and dense wines. The estate produces emblematic sparkling wines ranging from the classic Blanc de Noir and Rosé to Cristal and demi-secs. Some exceptional prestige wines are offered such as the Cuvée William Deutz, an amphitheater of aromas, or the Cuvée Original, made exclusively from vines over a hundred years old. Moreover, the estate offers a range of Vieux Millésimes effervescent wines which have been blended from the best grape varieties, named Renaissance Collection. The estate offers televised tours to its visitors as well as private tastings. You can also stop at the breathtaking 360° panoramas and additional tastings at the shop open to visitors.
