The Domaine Vilmart & Cie is a true Champagne institution established in 1872. It sprawls across approximately 8 hectares of surrounding vineyards, located in Rilly-la-Montagne, adjacent to the historic city of Reims. Here, in the heart of the famed Champagne wine region, the estate produces exceptionally high-quality champagnes in both the traditional, non-vintage style, as well as the rarely produced wines by the house, but always in a much sought-after style. The vineyards are not only cutting-edge, but are also operated with respect and attention. The clay-limestone rich soils are worked using traditional and organic methods to maintain the right balance of essential nutrients and minerals. Cultivation practices are meticulously controlled and can vary depending on the grape varieties, regions, and years. The wine produced by Domaine Vilmart & Cie is also recognized for its exceptional taste and quality, with fine bubbles and balanced aromas. Particular attention is paid to their vinification and blending, and then to their preservation, in order to maintain all their subtle aromas and original character. The wines are also developed using the most modern and advanced methods to ensure unique results. Domaine Vilmart & Cie is also well known for its integrity and respectful approach to wine and its work. Since its origins in the 19th century, the estate has been the first to produce complex, intense, and stunning wines. Discovering the wine region of Champagne

Champagne is the name of the world's most famous Sparkling wine, the appellation under which it is sold and the French wine region from which it comes. Although it has been used to refer to sparkling wines around the world - a point of controversy and legal wrangling in recent decades - Champagne is a legally controlled and restricted name. See the labels of Champagne wines. The fame and success of Champagne is, of course, the product of many Complex factors.

Yet there are three main reasons we can be reasonably certain of. First, the large bubbles, which distinguish it from less "exciting" wines. Second, the high prices that champagne commands, which give it a sense of exclusivity and uniqueness. Third, two centuries of clever marketing to a willing and very receptive consumer base.
