It would be a distant relative of furmint and Jean-Michel Boursiquot (2019) states that it is the father or mother of chenin blanc. The wine region of Tokaj
Tokaj (formerly Tokaj-Hegyalja) has Long been Hungary's most famous and respected wine region, thanks mostly to its nectar-like, botrytized Tokaji dessert wines.
