The wine region of Overberg
The wine region of Overberg is located in the region of Cape South Coast of Western Cape of South Africa. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Lismore or the Domaine Crystallum produce mainly wines red, white and pink. It brings roundness and red and yellow fruit aromas to champagnes. Pinot meunier is also the dominant grape variety in red and rosé wines in the Orleans AOC and the rare Touraine-Noble-Joué, a grey wine. Syn.: meunier.
