Simple and fresh dry whites, pale golden colour, supple mouth with moderate acidity, with understated aromas of citrus and southern white flowers. Discreet rustic profile. The wine region of Ikaria

Greek PGI from the mythical Aegean island of Ikaria, birthplace of the legendary Pramnian wine (Homer), vineyards at 50–800 m. Fokiano is the signature autochthonous red with ripe red fruits, spices and a herbaceous-marine saline touch, full palate. Begleri is the signature white, taut and complex with citrus, white flowers, stone fruit and a saline-iodine note. Athiri, Assyrtiko and Mandilaria as complements.

The wine region of Aegean Sea

West Turkish coastal region (Izmir, Manisa, Denizli, Aydin), ~53% of national production, sunny Mediterranean climate. Sultaniye: light and fresh with citrus, apple, melon. Bornova Misketi: aromatic and floral (rose, honey). Reds: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah dense and sunny (blackcurrant, blackberry, pepper, garrigue, firm tannins) — international varieties that ripen perfectly here.

The word of the wine: Vinification of sweet wines

Moelleux and liquoreux wines are characterized by the presence of residual sugars (natural sugar of the grape), not transformed into alcohol under the effect of yeasts. The fermentation is stopped by cold and by the addition of sulphur dioxide (sulphur).
