Star of Condrieu AOC and Château-Grillet AOC, co-vinified in Côte-Rôtie with Syrah (up to 20%). Widely exported to California (Central Coast), Australia (Eden Valley) and Languedoc. A Rhône variety.

Production mostly dedicated to Pisco (brandy) from Muscat of Alexandria, Pink Muscat and autochthonous Torontel with intense floral-musky notes and exotic fruits. Minority opulent sunny white wines with candied citrus and a saline touch. Native Tamarugal and Pedro Ximénez as complements.
