The wine region of Одеса of Ukraine. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Колоніст / Kolonist or the Domaine Shabo produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. Several fine wine auctions have been organised by the members of the trade in support of emergency relief efforts and humanitarian aid for people affected by war in Ukraine. Russia & Ukraine: A statement from the DWWA
Following the recent invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the Decanter World Wine Awards will be cancelling the entries for any Russian wineries which have entered the competition, and their wines will not be judged.
